Frequently Asked Questions:

What if my credit card gets lost or stolen? If you have a missing credit card, report it immediately to our 24-hour Customer Service Center at 1-800-854-7642. We will cancel your card and send you a new one.

What if there are unauthorized charges on my stolen card? If your card is stolen, you are not liable for these charges. If you suspect your card has been stolen, please call us as soon as possible at 1-800-854-7642.

What if I want to dispute a charge on my statement? If you wish to dispute a charge on your statement, and you have first tried in good faith to correct the problem with the merchant and have not been successful, call us at 1-800-854-7642.

Where do I send my payments? To remit payment via mail, please send to: The Card Services Center, P.O. Box 71205, Charlotte, NC 28272-1205. Please include your credit card account number on your check.

What are my payment options? Payments can be made by visiting 24-7cardaccess.com, via mail using your statement remittance payment coupon, or via phone by calling 1-800-854-7642. A $10.00 processing fee will be assessed to your MasterCard/Visa account for expedited phone payments. Please allow 24-48 business hours for your payment to apply to your account.

What account information can I view on www.24-7cardaccess.com? This website includes account summary information, your monthly transaction activity, downloadable transaction files, statement delivery options, account alert options, online payment capability, editable account preference options, fraud alert options, and other pertinent information related to your credit card account.

If I use this service, will I still get a paper statement in the mail? Unless you elect to receive your statement online, use of this service will not have any effect on whether or not you get a paper statement in the mail.

Who do I contact if I have an issue with my displayed account information? If you have questions about charges to your account, transactions on your account or any other account information displayed on this website, please call 1-800-854-7642.

Stop Payments

Stop Payment can be requested by the writer or drawer of a check, made to the bank the check was written on, to not pay the check as written but to refuse it instead. The payment is remanded and asked to be stopped.


Wire Transfers

Wire transfers are a fast way to send funds between financial institutions for credit to another account. With a signed request, Planters Bank can assist you in making an outgoing wire transfer from any of our branches, for a nominal fee.

  • Incoming & Outgoing domestic wires may be sent from 8:30 a.m. (EST) until 4:30 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday. All wire requests received after 4:30 p.m. (EST) will be processed the following business day.
  • Outgoing international wires may be sent from 8:30 a.m. (EST) to 2:30 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday. All requests received after 2:30 p.m. will be processed the following business day.

Important reminders when switching to Planters Bank

  • Send notification to companies who make automatic withdrawals from your account that you have a new bank.
  • Send notification to direct deposit companies that you have a new bank account.
  • Enclose a voided check from your new account when setting up a direct deposit for verification purposes.
  • Keep your new Planters Bank routing and account number handy for direct deposit and automatic withdrawal requests.
  • Allow up to 30 days for checks to clear from your old account and your direct deposit to be changed to your new account.
  • Make sure you have enough funds in your account to cover any pending automatic payments.
  • Destroy any unused checks, deposit slips, ATM or check cards.
  • Notify your current bank that you are closing your account.

If you discover your debit card is missing, it's important to call the bank right away. During regular business hours, contact your local branch to report your card lost/stolen. After regular business hours, please contact 1-800-500-1044 to report your card lost/stolen.
